My parents are atheist but I love them a lot. I am strongly Christian. It makes life harder but I guess I learn more in the end.

School is now
Today school starts! In fact, I will be carpooling with Madison over there in 20 minutes. I got up at 6:00 am today. Freaky early! I didn't go to sleep until probably midnight.. I gotta get on a better sleep schedule! I think I look pretty good for me at least! Lol my face was acting up for like no reason this morning. Well, not really for no reason, I break out when I'm stessed and this is a little stressful. Oh well, I'll deal. My outfit is pretty cute. White v-neck, black and white polkadotted skirt, zebra print bracelet, black bracelet (both are bangle style) long heart necklace. Hair is straightened and bangs are clipped off to the side. If I get lost, at least I'll look cute doing it. :) Justsayin!

Renovations!
I have started renovating the kitchen/dining room!
Step one- Clean up cabinets and replace handles.
Step two- Buy new lamp to go over table
Step three- Tape walls to be painted
Step four- Paint walls (marigold!)
So in a way I am halfway there, but I know that the painting will be the hard part.

Shopping, Shopping, New Phone
I went shopping yesterday for back-to-school clothes! I got a ton of cute things. I went with my mom to the out of town mall. I am going to the in town mall with some friends sometime this week. One of my good friends, Lydia just got back from Tennessee where she spent the whole summer so we need to catch up before school starts =) And of course, Madison, my best friend has to come too!
I make friends pretty easily, but I am still nervous for school. I am starting high school and the school is really big. I don't know anyone in any of my classes. Dooms day is Wednesday. Yipes!
I am supposed to get an upgrade on my phone today, but my mom is in a pretty bad mood so I don't think she'll take me. =( Darn.
I want to get either the Pantech Jest or the Samsung Intensity. Just a simple basic free phone. I'd rather get a Palm Pixie, but it requires a data plan and the rents would never go for that.
I still need to organize my bedroom and bathroom. I guess I can do that tomorrow or maybe this evening. Eh.

Bout to leave!
I am going to town to shop today. I don't have a car so my mother offered to take me.
My mom went out for coffee with a friend. We all know how long that takes =P
I am trying to pass the time by blogging.
SO... my OLD dad. He's like 54. Is listening to the Black Eyed Peas. Waaaah? It's even worse because he was listening to Johnny Cash before that.
My hair hates me today. I slept with it wet. Go figure.
That is all.

Nellie Bean Takes The World!
I am writing a book, kind of based off of myself. Here's the prolog! Enjoy!
Prolog
My name is Eleanor Cassidy Kongphouthakeuthirathoundaroumy.
Eleanor is after my Grandma Eleanor. She invented the rubber band. I am not really sure if that’s true or not, but she insists it is. She says she kept a journal filled with all of her great ideas. One day her house got robbed and somebody stole her idea. They got rich and famous. Grandma Eleanor was left with nothing. I don’t have anything against the poor woman, but I chose not to go by her name. It’s pretty, sure, but not for a fourteen-year-old girl in the twenty first century. I go by Nellie. Sometimes Nellie Bean. Haha, get it, Jelly Bean.. Nellie Bean.. yeah.
I think my parents decided on Cassidy when they were really hungry. You see, my parents grew up in the seventies when cassaroles where really big. My theory is that they ponder names all day and it was getting late. They decided to make a casserole for comfort food. While they were taking it out of the oven one of them said, “Yum, Casserole! Casserole. Hmmm. Cassidy!”
And as for my last name.. Well, my great grandparents on my dad’s side were 100 percent Lao. Although I am all American, the name got passed down to me. I still to this day have no idea how to pronounce it, or even spell it. When I have to write my name in school, I just abbreviate it as Kong.
My parents got better at naming by the time my little brother and sister came around. My eleven year old sister is Madison Elizabeth Larson. Totally normal, right? She got Mom’s maiden name which is so not fair. My nine-year-old brother is Shane Matthew Larson. I don’t really like his middle name much, but Shane Larson is pretty normal My whole family is normal. Except for me..

Going to town. Shopping and Grape Stomping.
You should know that I live in a small suburbish type town. There is a bigger town an hour away that has a pretty awesome mall. On Saturday I am going there with family! I am so excited! Lulz. Shopping just makes my days. And then we are going to go stomp on grapes. : /
I don't really know what that's all about. But we shall see!

Soundtrack!
Wow, I just watched Eclipse. The best Twilight movie!! =)
I was impressed with the soundtrack. My favorite songs from the movie are:
Muse- Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)
Metric- Eclipse (All Yours)
Band of Horses (HUH? what a name) - Life on Earth
So yeah! =) I might have to get my limewire on tomorrow!

Twilight. Twilight, Twilight :)
I saw Twilight on Tuesday. Loved it.
I saw New Moon on Wednesday. Eh.
I will watch Eclipse in 10 minutes. Yay! Its my favorite. I already saw it in theaters.
And then tomorrow I will watch the Twilight in Forks documentary. It's funny because I lived in a town called Forks before. It wasn't as small though and not in Washington.
And I guess the day after that I'll have to see Vampires Suck?
It's too bad that Breaking Dawn isn't out yet. Then I could add that to my collective Twilight marathon!!
Maybe the day after Vampires Suck I will start reading Twilight. I haven't read the first one, just New Moon. I think I will.
The series isn't perfect. The acting is a bit off and the characters look just a tad too old to be in high school, bit I love it anyways. Hehe.
What I am about to do..
I have so much to do! Why am I sitting by my computer? Maybe if I post the things I have to do here I will be obligated to do them. Eh, it's worth a try.
Clean this room
Clean the toilets (what am I, Cinderella?)
Change out of pajamas
Take a shower
Go to the sporting goods shop and pick up a backpack
Do laundry
Organzine bathroom sink area thing
Watch the Real Housewives of D.C.
Paint my nails
Clean up aisle 6.. my eyebrows
Workout
Cook

A stupid vampire movie gave me hope?
Okay, I admit, I am a twilight fan. Tonight I saw New Moon for the second time. (Even though Eclipse is my favorite! FTW) But I do find the movies, and the books a bit cheesy at times. I mean really? Glittering in the sun? And is it just me or does Edward look like Edward Sissorhands? (May I cut hedge?)
But this time, the movie spoke to me. I have been depressed. It has not been pretty. I wasn't as bad as Bella. I didn't do anything extreme, but I was just, blah. And the scene where the months are changing and she's not. Ugh. I almost cried because that's exactly what it's like. The book even describes it better. Nothing.
Anyways, my favorite characters are Alice and Charlie. I just love his mustache. I want them to auction it off when Breaking Dawn is done and then donate the money to that male balding society or whatever it is. You know the commercials, they come on every night at like ten? "IF YOU HAD A CHOICE IN BECOMING BALD OR HAVING A FULL HEAD OF HAIR, WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?"
I got two favorite quotes from this movie. Well one of them was originally from the book, the other one was added in. "I didn't think you'd be opposed to Grand Theft Auto." -Alice Cullen. Oh, and I SO love the car she thefted. I want one! I asked my mom for one but it was too expensive. Yellow is my favorite color. Just that shade too. Yum.
Alice reminds me of me, when I am in my happy mode. She even has the crazy driving down.
But the line that really spoke to me was from Charlie's mustached mouth.. "Sometimes you have to learn to love the things that are good for you." Or something along those lines.
When you are depressed, when you are hurting, you do not want to anything but just sit, or sleep, and watch everything pass you by. You don't want to go out, you don't want to eat properly or exercise. You don't want to see your friends, or listen to music, or dance, or sing, or anything that you used to love. All the things that are good for you.
I think that line just really called to me because I wish someone would have told me that or at least give me some advice. But nobody did. They just ignored me or tiptoed around me. I had to get better on my own
= (
On that fantastically happy note...

It's not worth it.
I have a very easy going nature. I am a Gemini for Pete's sake =)
But today I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I guess.
Actually this whole week I have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.
I haven't been my normal self. With school starting next week. Exactly a week from today, actually, I have been so stressed out and so anxious. Worrying day and night.
Today at registration I was a total *excuse my language* bitch.
I didn't want to be there, and I made it everyone know it too.
I didn't give anyone the time of day, and when it was time to get my picture taken for the ID, I refused to flash my million dollar smile. I frowned.
On the way home I yelled at my mom, and she yelled back.
Then I locked myself in my room and cried.
Then I ate lunch.
And cried some more.
Now I reflect on how I behaved. I am still not thrilled for school, and that is understandable. But I shouldn't have gotten all worked up. I shouldn't have taken it out on other people. It is so not worth it.
It's not worth the tears
It's not worth the arguments
It's not worth the moodiness
It's not worth the bitten nails
or picked scabs
It's not worth the anxiety
I am going to make this school year the best one ever. I will force myself to have fun with it. Being unhappy is not worth it.
Class of 2014 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!
